Hacker Hustle 5K & 8K

Lace up your running shoes and help us chase away the hackers on September 28, 2019 in Huntersville, NC!

Join us in Huntersville, just north of Charlotte for the Inaugural Hacker Hustle 8K/5K & Fun Run. The race course takes you along the beautiful McDowell Creek Greenway behind Birkdale Village. Meet the hackers face to face and find out find out how they try to trick users into giving up their information. This event is filled with family fun activities, face painting, live DJ, local business vendors, food, drinks and free giveaways. We will also have a Fun Run for the kids around the Regal Theatre. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center.

After the race hang around for the festival-like atmosphere. Take advantage of our recovery station and stretch or use the foam rollers before rewarding yourself with some ice cream, good food and great music. Every race participant will receive an exclusive Hacker Hustle T shirt, Premium Water bottle, Rally Towel and Swag Bag.

As of September 24th we are officially out of Hacker Hustle Race T-shirts! Don't let that discourage you from running. We still have a Swag Bag filled with amazing items.

This is a timed event
The 8K and 5K are chip-timed using the state-of-the-art My Laps timing system. The Inaugural Hacker Hustle Course starts and ends at the Regal Cinema parking lot in Birkdale Village and loops around the Greenway behind Birkdale Village. After you cross the finish line, head on over to our results tent for live results.
